THE COLOSSEUM

The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre has an oval structure and is located in the centre of Rome (Italy). Built on concrete and sand is the largest amphitheatre ever built. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in AD 72, and was completed in AD 80 under his successor and heir Titus. Let´s go to know a little bit more about it !!!
